It is my true belief, that success in business can only be achieved if social responsibility towards employees, partners and other cultures is an integral part of management. It not only makes success more rewarding but also contributes to society.
Only weeks after the horrible 2004's Tsunami I started a private charity in order to build and run a pre-school for about 40 children in southern Sri Lanka. Today there are about 65 children in the school with 6 teachers not only running the school but also offering afternoon classes for elder children as well as for parents - all part of a child protection programme.
I continue to organize and support financing to this day.
